DocuVieware.Box is a free document sharing platform for anyone needing to share their documents online.
The platform is zero-footprint, allows document viewing directly in the browser, and supports more than 100 different formats.
Documents can be uploaded and accessed through any modern browser.
The platform supports document upload from URI, TWAIN scanner (Windows Vista and above) or local file.
User is offered to fill out a short form and specify the period of availability of the document on the platform. After submitting the form, a random, protected by SSL protocol link is generated that can be communicated to document recipient.
The solution helps to overcome issues of blocked attachments by IT security as well as provides access to documents without a need for software-specific installation on the user’s device.

The Story.
Once the sales department realized that quotes and invoices attached to some emails did not reach their recipients, the management decided to develop a solution to better share documents.
Proxy settings can block incoming attachments. We needed an urgent solution, and we decided to develop an online platform with our own HTML5 viewer and document management kit, DocuVieware.
